Rathi's House

Flair or creativity knows no bounds.

ABOUT

This project is a 4 bedrooms apartment with a living, a kitchen, and a dining area. As per the client's request one bedroom was transformed into a home theatre. The client and their family were looking for a subtle yet rich design concept. The interiors have a muted colour scheme that highlights the beautiful décor details, natural materials, and priceless grey Italian marble. In order to create a lavish ambiance, the design team balanced various materials, colours, and patterns in their designs and conceptions.

The foyer's opposite side has a white colour finish and a PU finished shoe rack, while the Italian marble covered wall has brass leaves inlaid into it. The ideal material balance on the walls and the Italian carpet give the impression that the room is longer. The living room is the ideal illustration of minimalist luxury in the present. Italian marble flooring combined with metal, veneer, and unfinished wood gives the room a posh, open appearance.

The granite top on the kitchen platform and the PU finish on the furniture give the room a bright, natural appearance. Beautiful imitation marble serves as the dining table's top, adding to the room's opulence. With a magnificent wooden wall and tessellated jali doors, one corner of the dining space is dedicated as a puja area. MDF that has been CNC-cut is used to cover the other side of the wooden partition. A console table made of metal and veneer with a faux marble surface in the front. On the console is a lovely Buddha sculpture that completes the room. The master bedroom is quite subtle and sophisticated, with lighter tones matched by medium-textured veneer for the bed back panel, TV unit, and wardrobe. The use of earthy colours alongside white and grey gives the home theatre/guest room a cosy yet expansive appearance. The family can get together here on the weekends.
